Missy and Garrett's Wedding
Missy and Garrett decided to take advantage of the Destination Wedding idea that we are now doing. We went out two weeks before the big day and had so much fun. We hung 100 clear light bulbs in a tree as an installation with a couch and it was amazing. It was really fun to be able to photograph on my parents farm. We took portraits on the old hay truck, the firewood trailer, in front of the original barn to the farm, amongst the apples, and at the only gas station known as "Pinky's". It was a really amazing day and I'm glad that we were able to make the day so much less stressful and shorter by taking these before hand. Thanks to the town of Doty and to my parents for helping out with the portraits and providing a beutiful place to photograph.
I am so grateful for being able to photograph this wedding. It was such a gorgeous day and everyone did such a great job. Missy and Garrett are such beautiful people with an amazing family. Thank you for allowing us to photograph your wedding. Thank you for everything.
Here are just a few details from September 12th 2009.
A special thanks to Keri Cooper from Bliss Events for all that you did and organized. www.blisseventsnw.com
Special mention to the amazing vendors:
Chad Burnworth for styling for the grounds, the botanical planters, and of course the tablescapes and wedding flowers. www.collecteddesign.com
We set out to try something different than regular studio maternity portraits. Creating a dress out of real fern leaves and shooting outside at night with a full moon. It was a lot of work but well worth the end product.
This is a new thing we are doing and I am so excited about it. I believe it'll revolutionize the way wedding portraits are taken. We went out with an amazing team and Jessica and David for their wedding portraits before their wedding. We all had such an amazing time. I will put a slide show up soon, but here is a few to wet your pallet. Thanks team. Thanks Jessica and David. So glad we did these!!
Ashleigh and Brian's Wedding.
What a great and hot day it was. At 106 degrees, everyone remained amazing and beautiful. I will post vendors and such soon.
